Itinerary Photos Costs What to bring? Nepal Resources

This past autumn I packed my apartment into a storage locker, took a leave of absence from work and departed for Nepal.  I had been looking forward to this trip for more than four years.  During that time I searched the web looking for resources on Nepal so I'd know what to expect.  Even in this day where it seems like someone has put up a page about anything you can think of I found a void when it came to trekking in Nepal.

Then in August of '99 I came across the web page of Scott Yost which answered a good deal of the lingering questions.  He had created a page detailing the itinerary, costs, highlights and helpful hints.  Also quite interesting were the photos and copy of the journal he kept.

I've created this page detailing my trip hoping it will be of use to others planning their trip to Nepal.  Hopefully everyone who has been asking about the pictures of my trip will enjoy seeing them here.  (Although I'm more than willing to break out the 2000+ slides if someone wants to see more.)  Lastly, I hope the information here is enough to pique someone's interest enough to make the journey to Nepal.  It is truly a fantastic and beautiful place.
